Abstract
Bilateral full foraminotomy For neural decompression and interlaminar resin fixation combined with interspinous wiring for stabilization in lumbar spondylolisthesis were performed without bone fusion. We observed postoperatively six cases of low grade of lumbar spondylolisthesis with neurological symptoms and signs.
Preoperative neurological symptoms as lumbago, radiating pain along the legs and intermittent neurogenic claudication were relieved satisfactorily after surgery. But mild lumbar stiffness for the resin fixation, mild lumbago and tingling on the legs were developed on occasions without any dis turbance of daily living life in all patients. "There has been no any cornplicat.ion in surgical region of all patients with lumbar spondylolisthesis during postoperative follow-up period.
This precedure of internal interlaminar resin fixation wi:h interspinous wiring For spinal stability might be surgically simpler and safer than internal fusion fixation with metal instrumentation, and it might be economical surgery for lumbar spondylolisthesis as well.
